Busy Bee Florist in the Nonantum section of Newton was the sweetest, most reliable and reasonable vendor we dealt with for our daughter's August wedding.  The theme was wildflowers and Heidi did a great job keeping with that theme.  The mother of the groom was doing all the flowers for the tables and she had very helpful advice for that, even though she wasn't providing those flowers. We needed bouquets, corsages, etc. and Heidi's flowers were right on.  In addition, when we were afraid that it was going to rain, at the last minute she rented us an arch and decorated it with tulle and bows for minimal cost.  It was delivered along with the flowers and picked up the next day.  She is reasonably priced, great to deal with and has wonderful ideas.  When we all saw the bouquets etc there was just a sigh of "Oh-how perfect!".  Get the personal service you want from Heidi and Christina at Busy Bee.

I give a huge high five to Heidi and her team for creating unbelievable arrangements for my May 2014 wedding! Heidi was very receptive to my ideas and added some ideas that turned out fantastic. 
I order for 18 bouquets of baby's breath to be picked up the day before the wedding for me to arrange in paper cones on the pew markers. When I arrived the day before, the flowers were sitting by the front door waiting for me to pick them up!
Our wedding was on a Saturday morning, and I needed the flowers to be delivered by 8:30 am; Heidi was right on time! My bouquet of peonies and lily of the valley was STUNNING, and I received so many compliments. All of the corsages and boutonnieres were perfect and lasted all day.

Busy Bee is a wonderful flower shop located in Newton.  Heidi, the owner, has a very warm and welcoming personality. 
I've been buying flowers from Busy Bee for a few years now, for all sorts of occasions, and I always receive compliments on how beautiful they are.  As soon as we started planning our wedding I knew I would use Busy Bee for our wedding flowers.  
Heidi was such a pleasure to work with through the entire process of planning the wedding flowers.  I brought a color swatch of the bridesmaid dress to the scheduled appointment, and In a few hours we were able to  plan out all the church flowers, bouquets and center pieces for the reception.  I really appreciated how knowledgable, patient and sincerely enthusiastic Heidi was the whole time.  I felt no pressure and it was a stress-free experience!
The day of our wedding, Heidi arrived ahead of schedule to deliver the bouquets and church flowers.  They were gorgeous and exactly what I had envisioned!  The bridesmaids and I were amazed at the quality of the roses and how perfectly they had opened and arranged them. When we arrived at the reception site in Boylston, MA, I was greeted by our onsite wedding coordinator, who raved about how Heidi had meticulously finished putting together the centerpieces onsite, making sure that everything looked perfect.   
The hard work and passion came across because we received numerous comments on how great all the flowers were.  I really feel we got our money's worth and more by going with Busy Bee for our wedding flowers.  I highly recommend them and I'll continue to shop there for all my flower needs.

Heidi and her team are great. Busy Bee Florist was the life saver for my wedding! 
My original florist backed out of my wedding 5 weeks before the event and thankfully Heidi came to my rescue. From our first consultation to the day of the wedding, she was professional, diligent and sweet. My mom and I met with Heidi to discuss our vision and the flowers we liked. She delivered above and beyond what we were expecting. I would highly recommend this florist for anything from bouquets to an entire wedding!

I am  so pleased to write a review for The Busy Bee Florist  in Newton  Ma  located in the village of Nonantum where I grew up.  I walked in shopping for   a florist for my daughters  wedding shower, heard so much about what a great florist she was. 
As soon as I went in she was so friendly sat with me listened to my ideas had wonderful suggestions and I was hooked,  I new she would be terrific!!  Heidi had
me go threw floral magazines I pulled out my ideas left  my color swatches with her.  Delivery was right on time flowers were gorgeous fresh and I loved her creativity. I got compliments all day and was so happy to share where I found her. Right under my nose in my neighborhood.  I would with out a doubt highly  recommend  the Busy Bee Florist she exceeded my expectations.

This place is amazing!   I went to busy bee after having an awful experience with another florist and only a month away from my wedding.  Heidi sat with me for over an hour looking at pictures and making suggestions.  She made me feel so comfortable and I trusted her suggestions.  The price was reasonable, my flowers all arrived on time and were set up perfectly.  The bouquets and centerpieces far surpassed my expectations and were beautiful!  The Pictures are amazing and the colors were right on point.  I highly recommend this company for your wedding or special event.  You will not regret it!
